What is Letolife 2.5 Letrozole Tablet?
Letolife 2.5 is an oral aromatase inhibitor. It works by reducing estrogen levels in the body, helping slow or stop the growth of estrogen-dependent breast cancers. Each strip contains 5 tablets.
Uses of Letolife 2.5 Tablet
- Adjuvant treatment of hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer in postmenopausal women
- Extended adjuvant treatment after completing tamoxifen therapy
- First-line treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer
- Treatment of breast cancer after antiestrogen therapy failure
How Letolife 2.5 Works
Letrozole inhibits the aromatase enzyme that converts androgens into estrogen. By reducing circulating estrogen, it deprives hormone-sensitive cancer cells of the estrogen needed to grow, helping control tumour growth.
